Mitsubishi Wd 60737 Status Continuous Blinking Orange Light
We have the Mitsubishi 60 inch DLP 3D Ready HDTV. The Status Light in the from is blinking Orange. What does this mean? We were sitting here watching TV and it just went black, then the orange light starting blinking. We got it back on a few minutes later, then it went out again. Is the bulb going out?

Check for the recessed button on the front panel and reset the system. If it doesn't work disconnect the tv and let sit over night.

Mitsubishi WD-73738 73-Inch 3D DLP HDTV (2010 Model)
Blinking orange is usually the lamp door is not tight enough or lamp door safety switch needs to be replaced--
If all is good, suspect color wheel-

This is not your TV but close enough--

Unplug TV from wall socket --Tighten up screws on lamp door(located in same place) Hold power button on TV for 60 seconds then plug in turn on--If TV fails and it will not give you a picture then you have a weak Lamp Ballast- Replace Lamp Ballast-

Lamp cover switch open, Status light blinking orange.
If you have just replaced the Lamp, Make sure Lamp door is tight.
If you have not replaced the lamp, when was the lamp last replaced?
If lamp is goodBlinking orange can also be color wheel

Remember, when replacing the Lamp use a OEM Lamp(Original Equipment Manufactured Lamp) and not a cheap imitation Lamp

Get back to me later.
I hope it's not 33, because there is no error code for that sequence.
Just confirm and let me know-
I'm shutting down.

Error 61 means "No LAMP-EN output from the engine to the ballast" Most likely cause: "Bad Color Wheel (Loose J6 or J7 connector)".
